Women's Equality Day Celebration
"Leveling the Playing Field"
The Coalition will celebrate Women's Equality Day earlier this year to encourage attendance from
high school teachers and students, along with its member organizations.
Leveling the Playing Field: "Do the unwritten rules hold women back?"
This FREE Seminar will feature video clips depicting women's equality or lack of, followed by a video lecture by Shelly Correll, Professor of Sociology at Stanford University from the Lean In lecture series. Break out discussion groups will be facilitated by The Rev. Eileen Shanley-Roberts, Rector, Christ Episcopal Church, Waukegan. Attendees will come away with solutions to reduce, or even eliminate, bias.
