Women’s History Month Celebration
PROGRAM: “A Journey with Harriet Tubman: An Amazing Story and Life”
Sharon D. Epps will take her audience on an amazing journey from the South to the North, all the way to FREEDOM as Harriet Tubman, the first conductor of the Underground Railroad. A poet, motivational speaker, author, and director of two educational plays, Sharon’s passions are poetry and helping others.
Among her accomplishments are appearing on the John Walsh show, “Women Who Have Changed Their Lives,” being chosen to meet President Bush in 2002 for the Welfare to Work Partnership Incentive, and publishing her book My Cup Ain’t Empty…It’s Full of Me.”
